About Shoshana Shalom (She/Her)

Shoshana Shalom, LPC, provides compassionate, evidence-based therapy for adolescents, teens, and adults across Ohio through LifeStance Health. She helps individuals and couples gain clarity, strengthen coping skills, and move through life’s challenges with greater confidence and emotional balance. Serving patients throughout Ohio, Shoshana offers individual therapy and couples counseling for those navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship concerns, with care that is both clinically grounded and deeply empathetic.

Shoshana specializes in ADHD, Anxiety, and PTSD/Trauma, and she also supports individuals facing grief, school avoidance, and major life transitions. She works with adolescents (ages 11–17), young adults, and adults, helping each person develop practical tools to manage overwhelming emotions and improve daily functioning. Shoshana has experience supporting members of the LGBTQ+ community and integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based techniques to promote emotional regulation, healthy communication, and lasting behavioral change. She offers additional areas of support beyond her primary specialties to ensure comprehensive, individualized care.

She also brings focused expertise in Women’s Issues and has proficient knowledge regarding Cluster B personality disorders. Shoshana is particularly attentive to the complexities of emotional intensity, interpersonal dynamics, and self-identity that often accompany these concerns. Through structured skill-building, insight-oriented exploration, and supportive accountability, she helps patients cultivate healthier relationships and a stronger sense of self.

Shoshana earned her education from John Carroll University and Ursuline College and has been practicing since 2023. Outside of her clinical work, she enjoys playing piano, singing and listening to music, engaging with animals—especially in therapeutic settings such as working with horses or dogs—and exploring topics related to forensic psychology and true crime.
