Vonda Willis, M.Ed, LPCC,
About Vonda Willis (She/Her)
Vonda Willis helps children, adolescents, teens, adults, and older adults build resilience, strengthen relationships, and navigate life’s challenges with confidence. As a Licensed Professional Counselor at LifeStance Health, she provides compassionate, evidence-based mental health care to patients throughout Ohio. With decades of experience, Vonda supports individuals facing concerns such as anxiety, depression, and PTSD/trauma, while also addressing a broad range of additional emotional and behavioral health needs.
A significant focus of Vonda’s work is helping children and families thrive. Drawing from her extensive experience in pediatric and family-centered care, she works closely with young people experiencing behavioral and emotional challenges, as well as families seeking stronger communication and healthier dynamics. Her background also includes court-connected work, allowing her to support families navigating complex situations with professionalism, empathy, and practical guidance.
Vonda believes effective therapy should be tailored to the unique needs of each individual. She utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and EMDR to help patients develop coping skills, process difficult experiences, and create meaningful change. She also provides psychological testing as part of a comprehensive approach to assessment and treatment. In addition to her primary specialties, Vonda offers support for a variety of other mental health concerns and therapeutic needs.
Throughout her career, Vonda has worked with diverse populations, including individuals involved in adoption and foster care, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and military veterans. She provides individual, couples, family, and group therapy services, creating a welcoming space where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered to reach their goals.
Since beginning her clinical practice in 1990, Vonda has remained committed to serving others and helping people discover their strengths. She earned her education through the University of Cincinnati and continues to bring warmth, dedication, and clinical expertise to every patient interaction. Outside of her professional work, she is passionate about serving others and making a positive difference in the lives of those around her.
