Carolyn Mraz, LSW,
About Carolyn Mraz (She/Her)
Carolyn Mraz helps adults and older adults throughout Ohio navigate life’s challenges with compassion, insight, and evidence-based mental health care. As a social worker at LifeStance Health, she works alongside clients to build resilience, strengthen coping skills, and create meaningful change. Carolyn provides individual therapy, group therapy, intensive outpatient programming (IOP), partial hospitalization programming (PHP), and case management services for adults facing a wide range of mental health concerns.
Carolyn has experience supporting individuals living with anxiety, depression, and PTSD/trauma, while also helping clients address concerns such as ADHD, grief, substance use challenges, life transitions, and other mental health conditions. She takes a collaborative and person-centered approach, recognizing that each individual’s experiences, strengths, and goals are unique. Her therapeutic style focuses on creating a supportive environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered throughout the healing process.
Using evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based techniques, Carolyn helps clients develop practical tools for managing emotions, improving relationships, and navigating difficult situations. She also offers support for individuals experiencing bipolar disorder, psychosis-related concerns, sleep difficulties, and both midlife and later-life transitions. In addition to these areas of expertise, she provides care for a variety of other mental health needs.
Outside of her clinical work, Carolyn enjoys expressing her creativity through art, relaxing with a good book, playing video games, practicing yoga and exercise, cooking, and listening to music. These interests help her maintain balance and inspire her appreciation for the many ways people find meaning, connection, and wellness in their daily lives.
