About Curtis Stein (He/Him)

Curtis Stein helps teens, adults, and middle-aged individuals across Ohio build resilience, improve emotional well-being, and navigate life’s challenges with confidence through compassionate care at LifeStance Health. Through individual and family therapy, Curtis supports clients managing anxiety, depression, and trauma, while also addressing concerns such as ADHD and life transitions. Curtis integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based techniques, while offering additional therapeutic approaches tailored to each client’s needs to promote meaningful and lasting change.

Curtis brings a thoughtful, person-centered approach to care, creating a supportive environment where clients feel heard and understood. Curtis works collaboratively with clients to identify patterns, strengthen coping strategies, and build practical skills that can be applied in everyday life. Curtis also has experience supporting individuals navigating complex emotional experiences, including grief and identity-related concerns, while offering additional support across a broad range of mental health needs.

Curtis is committed to providing inclusive care and has experience working with diverse populations, including members of the LGBTQ+ community. By fostering a respectful and affirming therapeutic space, Curtis helps clients explore their experiences, build self-awareness, and move toward personal growth and stability.

Curtis began practicing in 2022 and holds credentials as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, with education from Simpson University and Ashland University.

Outside of clinical work, Curtis enjoys traveling to new countries, learning about different cultures, and exploring both urban and natural environments. Curtis also values time spent hiking, visiting museums, experiencing art, and exploring regions across the East Coast and West Coast.
