About Mary Brugger (She/Her)

Mary Brugger, LPCC-S, helps adults and teens in Ohio navigate the challenges of anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, and grief through individualized, evidence-based therapy. Practicing at LifeStance Health, she works with clients to build practical coping strategies, develop emotional resilience, and foster personal growth in a supportive and collaborative environment.

She is especially passionate about supporting clients experiencing anxiety, depression, and trauma. Mary employs a variety of interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and mindfulness practices to address symptoms and promote lasting change. Her approach emphasizes safety, insight, and actionable skills that help clients manage stress, navigate life transitions, and improve overall mental health.

Mary works with both men and women across adolescence through adulthood, creating therapy spaces that are inclusive, validating, and tailored to each individual’s needs. She values collaboration, encouraging clients to engage actively in their treatment while drawing on their personal strengths and experiences.

Outside of her clinical work, Mary enjoys watching movies, attending concerts, listening to music, playing card and board games, and spending time with her pets. These activities reflect her belief in balancing work with connection, creativity, and joy.
