Meghan Baltzell, LISW, helps children, adolescents, teens, and young adults across Ohio build confidence, strengthen coping skills, and improve emotional well-being through compassionate, individualized therapy at LifeStance Health. She works with young patients navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, and ADHD, creating a supportive and engaging environment where they feel safe expressing themselves and developing tools for long-term success.

She is especially dedicated to supporting individuals who have been recently discharged from a psychiatric hospital, recognizing the importance of continuity of care during this critical time. Meghan focuses on helping patients and their families reestablish stability, build structure, and reduce the risk of relapse by providing consistent guidance, practical coping strategies, and a collaborative approach to healing.

Meghan’s clinical work also includes supporting children, teens, and young adults experiencing trauma, behavioral challenges, and school-related concerns such as school avoidance. She incorporates evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness to help patients better understand their thoughts and emotions while building effective coping strategies. She has experience working with individuals in the LGBTQ+ community, those with developmental disabilities, and those connected to adoption or foster care, while also offering support for additional mental health needs.

Since beginning her practice in 2022, Meghan has been known for her warm, approachable style and her ability to connect with younger patients and their families. She emphasizes collaboration, trust, and creating a positive therapeutic experience tailored to each individual’s needs.

Outside of her clinical work, Meghan enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking with her two dogs, playing video games, and reading—often with her Kindle close by.
