About Kristin Nisbett (She/Her)
Kristin Nisbett, LPCC, helps adults across Ohio navigate life transitions, emotional challenges, and mental health concerns with a thoughtful, personalized approach. She partners with clients to build resilience, improve daily functioning, and foster long-term well-being. Kristin creates a supportive and collaborative environment where individuals feel empowered to explore their experiences and develop meaningful strategies for growth and healing.
Kristin specializes in anxiety, depression, and life transitions, including midlife and later-life changes. She also supports individuals navigating postpartum mental health concerns, reproductive challenges, and relationship-related stressors. Through individual therapy, she integrates evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques, while offering additional therapeutic modalities tailored to each client’s goals.
Her clinical experience includes working with diverse populations, including individuals within the LGBTQ+ community and those connected to foster and adoptive systems. Kristin understands the importance of culturally responsive care and strives to create an inclusive space where each person’s identity and experiences are respected and affirmed.
Outside of her clinical work, Kristin enjoys spending quality time with her family, creating meaningful memories with her children, and traveling. She finds joy in reading and creating cozy, calming spaces at home, embracing small practices that support balance and presence in everyday life.
