Mary Roth, LPCC-S, helps teens, young adults, and adults navigate complex emotional challenges and life transitions with compassion and clinical expertise. Serving patients throughout Ohio, she provides individualized support for those coping with anxiety, depression, and the aftermath of psychiatric hospitalization, creating a safe space for healing and growth. Her approach integrates evidence-based methods to help clients regain stability, build resilience, and move forward with confidence.

Mary is particularly passionate about supporting individuals recently discharged from psychiatric hospitals. She works closely with these clients to address the unique challenges that arise during reintegration, including managing symptoms of mood disorders, processing trauma, and developing practical coping strategies. Her interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness practices, are tailored to foster emotional regulation, reduce stress, and strengthen daily functioning. This focus allows her clients to regain a sense of control and optimism in their recovery journey.

In addition to her clinical work, Mary provides care for adults facing later-life transitions, caregiving challenges, and women’s health concerns, as well as support for first responders and members of the LGBTQ+ community. She also offers therapy for teens experiencing developmental changes and mental health challenges, helping them cultivate coping skills and self-awareness.

Outside of her professional practice at LifeStance Health, Mary enjoys swimming, reading, and spending quality time with her two dogs and cat, which reflects her belief in the importance of balance and self-care.
