Julia Johnson-Hood, MS, LMFT,
About Julia Johnson-Hood (She/Her)
Julia Johnson-Hood, a Marriage and Family Therapist at LifeStance Health, helps children, adolescents, teens, and adults in Oklahoma navigate emotional, behavioral, and relationship challenges with compassionate, practical support. She works with patients experiencing anxiety, ADHD, and childhood behavior concerns, helping them build healthier coping strategies, strengthen relationships, and create meaningful change. She offers individual, couples, family, and group therapy. Julia is especially committed to supporting children, teens, and families as they work through challenges that can affect daily life at home, at school, and in relationships. She understands that concerns such as anxiety, attention difficulties, and behavioral struggles can impact the entire family system. Her approach creates space for patients and families to better understand patterns, develop useful skills, and move toward greater stability and connection. Using evidence-based and individualized approaches, Julia incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), family therapy, and parenting skills into treatment when appropriate. She also offers additional therapeutic interventions based on each patient’s needs. Her work is grounded in a caring, collaborative approach that recognizes each patient’s strengths and goals. Julia studied at Capella University and brings her training in marriage and family therapy to her work with individuals and families. Outside of her clinical practice, she enjoys spending time with her children, reading self-help books, cheering them on at the soccer field, and serving as a Girl Scout leader. Oklahoma patients seeking a therapist for anxiety, ADHD, childhood behavior concerns, or additional mental health and relationship needs can turn to Julia for thoughtful, clinically informed care at LifeStance Health.
