About Erin Spencer (She/Her)

Erin Spencer helps teens, adults, and older adults throughout Pennsylvania navigate life’s challenges with compassion, insight, and evidence-based mental health care. At LifeStance Health, she works with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, and PTSD/trauma, helping them build resilience, improve emotional well-being, and develop practical strategies for lasting change. Erin believes that meaningful progress begins with a strong therapeutic relationship and strives to create a supportive environment where patients feel safe, understood, and empowered. Erin is particularly dedicated to helping individuals facing anxiety, depression, and trauma-related concerns. She understands that emotional difficulties can affect relationships, work, physical health, and overall quality of life. Through a collaborative and personalized approach, she helps patients gain a deeper understanding of themselves, identify effective coping strategies, and move forward with greater confidence and emotional balance. Her therapeutic style integrates evidence-based interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Erin tailors treatment to each patient’s unique goals and experiences, recognizing that no two mental health journeys are the same. In addition to her primary areas of focus, she has experience supporting individuals with a variety of additional mental health concerns, life transitions, and emotional challenges. Erin values a strengths-based approach that helps patients recognize their existing capabilities while developing new tools for growth and healing. She works with teens, adults, and seniors who may be navigating grief, substance use concerns, major life transitions, women’s mental health issues, and other emotional or behavioral health concerns. Her goal is to help patients feel more equipped to manage life’s obstacles while fostering greater self-awareness and personal growth. Outside of her clinical practice, Erin enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time in nature. These interests reflect her appreciation for exploration, mindfulness, and maintaining balance, values that complement her work as a therapist and inform her holistic perspective on wellness. Erin earned her education from West Chester University and brings a thoughtful, patient-centered approach to every therapeutic relationship. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, she is committed to helping patients feel respected, supported, and empowered throughout the treatment process.
