About Savanah White (She/Her)
If you are seeking support for navigating life transitions, healing from trauma, or building a stronger sense of self, Savanah White at LifeStance Health provides compassionate, evidence-based therapy for adults throughout Rhode Island. She works collaboratively with clients to create a safe and affirming environment where they can explore challenges, develop practical coping skills, and move toward meaningful personal growth. Savanah provides individual and group therapy and helps clients address concerns such as depression, PTSD and trauma, ADHD, and a variety of additional mental health needs. A central focus of Savanah’s work is trauma-informed care. She incorporates Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy through a feminist lens, recognizing the impact that personal experiences, relationships, culture, and societal systems can have on emotional well-being. She is committed to helping clients process difficult experiences, build resilience, and reclaim a sense of empowerment in their daily lives. Her approach emphasizes both insight and action, helping individuals better understand their experiences while developing tools to create lasting change. Savanah also has experience supporting adults through midlife transitions, gender identity exploration, and grief. She utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based strategies, and gender-affirmative medical readiness evaluations as part of a personalized treatment approach. In addition to serving a broad range of clients, she has experience working with LGBTQ+ individuals and those on the autism spectrum, while also providing care for many other populations and concerns. Since beginning her clinical practice in 2022, Savanah has remained dedicated to delivering thoughtful, client-centered care that honors each individual’s strengths, values, and goals. She earned her undergraduate education from the College of Wooster and her graduate degree from Boston College, where she developed a strong foundation in clinical social work and therapeutic practice. Outside of the therapy office, Savanah enjoys reading a good book, knitting creative cat hats, and running whenever she has the opportunity. These personal interests reflect her appreciation for creativity, balance, and lifelong learning.
