Maia Roper is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Rhode Island who has been practicing since 2017. She received her Bachelors in Psychology from New England College and her Masters in Social Work from Simmons College. Maia offers a unique therapeutic experience that creates a comfortable setting to build clinical rapport. Once rapport is established, Maia continues to maintain rapport by empathizing with you and meeting you where you’re at while helping you bring forth the best version of yourself. Maia assists by assessing, diagnosing, and implementing appropriate modalities and treatments such as but not limited to, solution-focused therapy, CBT, TF-CBT, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, guided imagery, play therapy, safety planning and care, increasing self-esteem, etc.

Outside of work, Maia loves joining a gathering and catching up with friends and family and also loves hanging back and watching a mindless show on TV snuggled up on the couch. She tries to live her life with balance, always being mindful how to feel joy in the things she does. Things that always bring her joy include being with her family, listening to music, swimming, gardening, and creating.
