About Ellen Sheehy (She/Her)
I believe that each client has the ability and knowledge within themselves to create a fulfilling life – but you don’t have to figure it out alone. I approach therapy with the mindset that you are the expert of your own life and experiences, and customize my approach to each client’s needs. My work with my clients is free from judgement and criticism: instead, we will work together to figure out your path back to yourself. I specialize in working with individuals healing from trauma, depression, anxiety, and grief. While I take an eclectic approach, most of my work incorporates mindfulness-based CBT, psychodynamic, and somatic approaches. I come to my role as a therapist with person-centered, strengths-based, neurodiversity-affirming, and anti-oppression perspectives in mind.
