Nethania Jiminian, Therapist

Nethania Jiminian, LICSW

At LifeStance Health, Nethania Jiminian helps children, adolescents, teens, adults, and older adults throughout Rhode Island navigate life’s challenges with compassion, clinical expertise, and a collaborative approach to care. She provides individual therapy for a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, and PTSD/trauma, creating a supportive environment where clients can build resilience, strengthen coping skills, and work toward meaningful personal growth. Nethania is especially dedicated to helping individuals who are experiencing anxiety, trauma-related concerns, and depression. She understands how these challenges can affect relationships, school performance, work, and overall well-being. Her approach focuses on helping clients gain insight into their experiences, develop practical tools for managing symptoms, and build confidence as they move toward lasting emotional wellness. Her work also includes supporting children and teens facing ADHD, childhood behavior concerns, and school avoidance, as well as adults managing bipolar disorder, grief, alcohol and drug use issues, and women’s mental health concerns. Nethania has experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including members of the LGBTQ+ community, individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders, and those with developmental disabilities. In addition to these areas of expertise, she offers support for a variety of other mental health and life challenges. Nethania utilizes evidence-based interventions tailored to each client’s needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based techniques. She believes that therapy is most effective when it is personalized, empowering, and grounded in a strong therapeutic relationship. She earned her education through Boston University and is committed to ongoing professional development to ensure her clients receive high-quality, evidence-based care. Outside of her clinical work, Nethania enjoys hiking, camping, baking, cooking, spending time at the beach, and practicing meditation. These interests help support the balance and mindfulness she encourages in her therapeutic work.
