Sara Braganca, MSW, LICSW,
About Sara Braganca (She/Her)
Sara Braganca helps teens and adults develop effective tools for managing emotional challenges, building resilience, and creating meaningful change in their lives. At LifeStance Health, she provides individual therapy for patients throughout Rhode Island, supporting those experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, and other mental health concerns. Sara believes that therapy should be a collaborative process where clients feel understood, respected, and empowered to work toward their personal goals. Her therapeutic approach is tailored to the unique needs of each individual. Sara incorporates evidence-based treatments including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based strategies to help clients gain insight, strengthen coping skills, and navigate life’s difficulties with greater confidence. She also offers support for a wide range of emotional and behavioral concerns beyond her primary areas of focus. Sara has particular experience helping individuals facing anxiety, depression, and trauma-related challenges. She understands how these concerns can affect relationships, self-esteem, daily functioning, and overall quality of life. Through a thoughtful and compassionate approach, she helps clients identify patterns that may be keeping them stuck, process difficult experiences, and develop practical strategies for long-term growth and healing. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Sara combines clinical expertise with a warm, person-centered style. She earned her degrees from Boston University and Rhode Island College, where she developed a strong foundation in helping individuals navigate complex emotional and life challenges. Her goal is to provide a supportive environment where clients feel safe exploring concerns and building lasting positive change. Outside of her professional work, Sara enjoys running, spending time in her garden, sewing and embroidery, and playing golf, which she describes as an activity she continues to enjoy despite her best efforts to master it. These interests reflect her appreciation for creativity, balance, persistence, and personal growth. For teens and adults in Rhode Island seeking therapy for anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, and other mental health concerns, Sara offers compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to each person’s needs. She is committed to helping clients build healthier coping strategies and move toward a more fulfilling life.
