Life’s challenges–whether they seem too huge to handle or too small to be causing so much trouble–can cause anxiety drag us into depression, make us irritable and impatient, or even angry. Counseling is a safe, supportive place where we can work on developing coping skills, identifying ways to improve your life, and making changes that will help you achieve personal goals and reach your potential. In addition, I work with college students and adults with ADHD to manage symptoms and their many challenges by focusing on coping skills for focus, organization, and impulsivity. Before becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor, I worked as a registered nurse in oncology. Now, I especially enjoy working with clients with cancer, other diseases, and chronic illness including their caregivers and loved ones.
