Yasmeen Fontenot helps teens, adults, and older adults throughout Texas navigate life’s challenges with compassion, insight, and practical strategies for change. As a Licensed Professional Counselor at LifeStance Health, she provides a supportive, judgment-free environment where patients can address concerns such as anxiety, depression, and trauma while building resilience and improving overall emotional well-being. She offers individual, couples, and family therapy tailored to each person’s unique experiences and goals. A significant focus of Yasmeen’s work is helping individuals and families manage ADHD, childhood and adolescent behavioral concerns, and relationship challenges. She is passionate about supporting patients as they develop healthier communication patterns, strengthen family dynamics, and gain skills to navigate everyday stressors with greater confidence. Her approach emphasizes collaboration, understanding, and empowering patients to create meaningful, lasting change. Yasmeen utilizes evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), couples and marital counseling, and family therapy. She works with individuals experiencing a variety of mental health concerns and offers support for areas such as grief, midlife transitions, and additional emotional and behavioral challenges. She also has experience serving individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders and provides care that is thoughtful, individualized, and strengths-based.
