Alicia Pace, M.Ed, LPC

Alicia earned her Master’s of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from University of Houston-Victoria and is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas as well as a Nationally Certified Counselor. Alicia has clinical experience in a variety of settings, including foster care, residential treatment care, outpatient group therapy, and individual therapy.

Using a relational and solution focused approach, Alicia works with individuals aged 18-65 who are navigating their mental health and wanting to achieve balance and peace. Alicia’s areas of focus include ADHD, PTSD, anxiety, depression, life transitions, personality disorders, grief and loss, attachment related issues and processing trauma. Alicia is a trauma informed therapist and is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidence based approach to trauma resolution (more information at http://www.emdria.org) as well as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) which focuses on Mindfulness, Emotional Regulation, Distress Tolerance and Interpersonal Relationships skills.

Alicia’s role as a therapist is to offer a safe, consistent and supportive environment for individuals to heal, challenge, grow and discover as well as accept their authentic selves in order to live content and fulfilling lives.
