Bridget Smith, MSW, LCSW,
About Bridget Smith (She/Her)
Bridget Smith helps adolescents, teens, and young adults build the skills needed to overcome emotional challenges, improve daily functioning, and move toward a healthier, more fulfilling life. Through LifeStance Health, she provides individual therapy to patients across Texas, offering compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to each person’s unique experiences and goals. Bridget believes that meaningful progress begins with a strong therapeutic partnership built on trust, understanding, and collaboration. Her clinical practice focuses on treating anxiety, depression, and ADHD, while also helping patients navigate concerns such as childhood behavior issues, school avoidance, eating disorders, and sleep difficulties. She works closely with patients to identify obstacles, strengthen coping skills, and develop practical strategies that support emotional wellness, academic success, and personal growth. Bridget incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based techniques into treatment, while offering additional therapeutic approaches based on individual needs. Bridget is particularly passionate about supporting adolescents and young adults as they navigate the important transitions that come with school, increasing independence, relationships, identity development, and future planning. She recognizes that these years can bring unique pressures and emotional challenges, and she strives to create a supportive environment where young people feel empowered to better understand themselves, build confidence, and develop lasting resilience. Her approach is warm, engaging, and goal-oriented. Bridget works collaboratively with patients to help them recognize strengths, gain insight into patterns that may be holding them back, and develop tools that promote long-term mental health. Whether someone is seeking therapy for anxiety, depression, ADHD, or other emotional and behavioral concerns, she is committed to providing thoughtful care that supports meaningful and sustainable change. Outside of her clinical work, Bridget enjoys reading, traveling, practicing yoga, baking, painting, and playing board games. These creative and restorative activities help her maintain balance and bring a sense of curiosity and connection to her work with patients.
