David Kellar, MA, LPC,
About David Kellar (He/Him)
David Kellar helps adults and seniors navigate emotional challenges, life changes, and relationship concerns through compassionate, individualized therapy. At LifeStance Health, he serves patients across Texas through individual, group, and couples therapy, with particular focus on anxiety, depression, and PTSD/trauma, as well as additional mental health concerns. David creates a supportive therapeutic environment where patients can explore difficult experiences, strengthen coping strategies, and work toward meaningful change. His clinical approach incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, with additional therapeutic methods available to meet individual needs and goals. His work recognizes that mental health concerns can affect relationships, daily functioning, and a person’s sense of well-being. David brings a caring, clinically informed perspective to therapy, helping patients better understand patterns, process challenging experiences, and develop practical strategies that support progress. A Licensed Professional Counselor who began practicing in 2024, David attended the University of Saint Mary and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. His professional background supports a thoughtful approach to providing mental health care across adulthood and later life. Outside of his work, David enjoys reading, practicing Tai Chi, walking and playing with his dogs, making music, singing, attending church, and spending time with his wife.
