Lindsay Templer helps children, adolescents, teens, and adults navigate emotional and behavioral challenges with compassion, practical guidance, and evidence-based therapy. Serving patients across Texas through LifeStance Health, she works collaboratively with individuals and families to build resilience, strengthen coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change. Lindsay commonly supports patients experiencing anxiety, ADHD, and depression, while also addressing a range of additional mental health concerns. One area of particular passion for Lindsay is helping children and teens facing childhood behavior issues and school avoidance. She understands how emotional, social, and academic challenges can affect a young person’s confidence, relationships, and overall well-being. Lindsay partners with both patients and caregivers to identify underlying concerns, improve communication, and develop strategies that promote healthy development at home, in school, and in everyday life. Drawing on approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, and Parent Child Interaction Therapy, Lindsay tailors treatment to each individual’s needs and goals. Her therapeutic style emphasizes connection, skill-building, and practical solutions that patients can apply in their daily lives. She also supports individuals working through grief, midlife transitions, and other life stressors, offering additional areas of expertise beyond her primary specialties. Since beginning her clinical career in 2008, Lindsay has remained committed to helping patients feel heard, understood, and empowered throughout the therapy process. Her experience working with children, adolescents, teens, and adults allows her to adapt treatment to different developmental stages and life experiences while maintaining a supportive and collaborative environment. Outside of her practice, Lindsay enjoys being a parent and dog owner, attending concerts, exploring arts and crafts projects, tackling DIY activities, and spending quality time with family and friends. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, Lindsay earned her education from the University of Texas at San Antonio and Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. She is proud to provide individual therapy to patients throughout Texas who are seeking support for anxiety, ADHD, depression, childhood behavior concerns, and other mental health challenges.
