About Daisy Bedser (She/Her)

I am a Resident in Counseling who has been practicing in Virginia since 2023. I earned a Masters in Couples and Family Counseling from VCU. I believe everyone can benefit from the process of therapy. You are the expert of your experiences, and it is important to me that you are believed and validated in session. Together, we can explore patterns in your life to help you understand yourself and create positive, affirming growth for the future. We will examine these patterns from a systemic lens that explores your identity, environment, and upbringing. We will develop an understanding of how other people and systems impact you, and the role that you play. I am here to help guide you towards finding more effective techniques to deal with the challenges that you face. I am dedicated to helping with any challenge you may want to work on. I have experience working with clients with ADHD, Autism, Substance Use Disorders/addiction, PTSD, Bipolar disorder, Anxiety, and Depression. I have worked closely with people in the LGBTQIA+ community. I specialize in neurodivergence as well as trans-affirming and queer-affirming care for children, adults, and families.
