About Dr. Diana Agnetti, LPC (She/Her)
My approach to mental health counseling integrates short-term Solution-Focused Therapy and reflective attachment theory creating a compassionate, strengths-based approach that helps clients understand both where they have been and where they want to go. I help clients recognize their strengths, identify what is already working, and develop practical steps toward the life they want to create. At the same time, I use trauma-informed and reflective approaches to help clients understand how past relationships may influence their emotions, behaviors, relationships, and patterns of coping today. I believe meaningful change occurs when people feel understood, empowered and hopeful. Modalities of practice include: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness-Based approaches for self-regulation. I offer Faith Based services when desired.
