About Amber Ter Maaten (She/Her)
Amber Ter Maaten is a Licensed Independent Clinician Social Worker in Washington who has been practicing since 2021. She obtained a BASW and MSW from Eastern Washington University. Amber utilizes an integrative and strengths-based approach to support individuals and families in navigating life stressors while leading lives congruent with their values. She uses treatment modalities such as CBT, humanistic therapy, motivational interviewing, ACT, and play therapy techniques to best support the unique challenges faced by each individual and family system. Amber offers a nonjudgemental space to process emotions, foster a strong sense of self, manage life’s challenges, and much more. In her free time, Amber enjoys attending concerts, gardening, visiting the beach, finding new restaurants, and playing board games with loved ones.
