Veronica Diaz, MA, LMHCA

I work to support adolescents and adults recognize their capacity, realize their strength, and achieve a higher level of independence and self-confidence to accomplish their goals. I aim to work collaboratively with you to process any confusion, fear, or hurt that may cause obstacles to your goals and support you in honoring the vulnerabilities that provide a basis for the incredible strengths you hold. I aim for our work together to clarify your values and that the choices you make are comfortably rooted in your truth and in the best interest of yourself and the community you hold dear.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate currently enrolled in a Ph.D. program for Clinical Psychology, and have had the fortune of a variety of work experience including, providing psychological assessments, in-school counseling and assessments, individual therapist within a community outpatient clinic, working with individuals who have lived through traumas and/or have co-occurring diagnoses, helping with the reintegration process back into the community following hospitalizations and incarcerations, and supporting individuals living with psychosis. My focus when I work with clients is a humanistic and client-centered approach emphasizing individuals’ strengths.

If you have any questions, do not hesitate to reach out. The therapeutic relationship is essential, and if I cannot provide the support you are seeking, I will support you in finding the right fit for you.
