Jennifer Arp, LMHC, MS,
About Jennifer Arp (She/Her)
Jennifer Arp helps adults and older adults throughout Washington find a path forward when mental health challenges begin to interfere with daily life, relationships, or overall well-being. At LifeStance Health, she provides compassionate, evidence-based therapy for individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, and PTSD/trauma, while also supporting patients facing a wide range of additional mental health concerns. Jennifer has a strong clinical interest in helping individuals affected by alcohol and drug use issues. She understands that substance use challenges often intersect with emotional pain, life stressors, trauma, and relationship difficulties. Her goal is to help patients better understand the underlying factors contributing to unhealthy patterns while developing practical skills that support recovery, resilience, and long-term wellness. She approaches treatment with empathy, respect, and a commitment to meeting each person where they are in their journey. Drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Jennifer tailors care to the unique needs of each patient. She works collaboratively with individuals to identify obstacles to healing, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, and process difficult experiences. In addition to her primary areas of focus, she supports patients managing bipolar disorder, grief, and other mental health conditions. Jennifer values creating a therapeutic environment where patients feel heard, understood, and empowered. She believes meaningful change begins with a strong therapeutic relationship and works to foster a space that encourages growth, self-awareness, and hope. Through individual therapy, group therapy, and intensive outpatient services, she helps patients build practical strategies for navigating life’s challenges. Outside of her professional work, Jennifer enjoys playing volleyball, listening to music, and spending time outdoors.
