Zoe Metzer, LMHC,
About Zoe Metzer (She/Her)
Zoe Metzer helps children, adolescents, teens, and adults build practical skills to navigate emotional challenges, strengthen relationships, and achieve meaningful personal growth. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with LifeStance Health, she provides individual therapy for patients across Washington, offering a supportive and collaborative environment where clients can feel understood while developing effective strategies for lasting change. Zoe works with concerns such as anxiety, ADHD, and depression, while also helping individuals address additional mental health and life challenges. A significant focus of Zoe’s work is supporting young people and families facing childhood behavior issues and school avoidance. She is passionate about helping children, adolescents, and teens understand the factors influencing their emotions and behaviors while equipping them with tools to improve confidence, resilience, and day-to-day functioning. Zoe partners closely with clients and caregivers to create realistic goals and practical solutions that can be applied both at home and in school settings. Zoe tailors treatment to each individual’s unique needs and incorporates evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based techniques. She believes meaningful therapy begins with a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, empathy, and respect. Her approach emphasizes helping clients recognize strengths, develop healthy coping skills, and make sustainable changes that support long-term well-being. She earned her education through Gonzaga University and has been committed to providing compassionate mental health care grounded in clinical expertise and genuine human connection. Zoe strives to create a welcoming space where clients feel safe exploring challenges and celebrating progress. Outside of her clinical work, Zoe enjoys a wide range of creative and recreational activities, including board games, chess, cooking, cycling, drawing, photography, reading, yoga, writing, and watching films. These interests help her maintain balance and bring curiosity, creativity, and perspective into her work with clients.
