Katie is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) who has been practicing since 2017. She graduated from the University of Washington in Seattle with a Masters degree in Child and Adolescent Psychology: Prevention and Treatment. The program focused on implementing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, elements of Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and various parenting interventions. Katie combines her education in these evidence-based practices with client-centered treatment to ensure both success and engagement for her clients. She values trust, creativity, and puts an emphasis on the therapeutic relationship. Her main areas of focus include anxiety, trauma, depression, ADHD, the LGBTQ+ population, and children of divorce. In her free time, Katie enjoys baking, yoga, traveling, reading, and watching football (go Seahawks!) She also enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and dog.
