Samantha Farmer is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Licensed Marriage Family Therapist at LifeStance Health, providing compassionate and evidence-based care to individuals, couples, and families across Washington. She works with children, adolescents, and adults, offering a supportive and nonjudgmental space where clients can navigate challenges and build resilience. Samantha specializes in treating ADHD, anxiety, and PTSD/trauma, helping clients develop coping strategies that foster long-term well-being. She is particularly passionate about supporting individuals through major life transitions, including midlife adjustments and postpartum challenges.

Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and systemic family therapy techniques, she tailors interventions to meet each client’s unique needs. She is also a Registered Circle of Security Facilitator and is certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), enhancing her ability to support children and families struggling with emotional and behavioral concerns. In addition to her expertise in ADHD and trauma, Samantha is dedicated to working with the LGBTQIA+ community and individuals from adoptive or foster care backgrounds.

She also provides couples and family therapy, helping partners and loved ones strengthen communication, resolve conflicts, and foster healthier relationships. Her work is guided by a deep understanding of interpersonal dynamics and the complexities of relational health. Beyond her clinical practice, Samantha enjoys cozy gaming, crafting, and immersing herself in 90’s and early 2000’s music and pop culture. She is also passionate about animal welfare and dedicates time to advocating for the well-being of animals.
