Teresa Kirchner is a licensed therapist at LifeStance Health, offering compassionate and evidence-based mental health services to individuals, couples, and groups across Washington. She helps clients build emotional resilience, improve relationships, and manage difficult life transitions by tailoring care to each person’s unique strengths, values, and experiences. Teresa supports teens, adults, and older adults through a variety of concerns, including anxiety, depression, and trauma-related challenges, using a collaborative and deeply respectful therapeutic approach. Teresa is especially passionate about working with individuals navigating psychosis, schizophrenia, or trauma-related experiences. She brings specialized training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Psychosis (CBTp) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to support clients in understanding and managing their internal world, while also offering trauma-informed strategies to promote lasting healing. Teresa is commited to destigmatizing unusual experiences and providing non-pathologizing care. In addition to her focus on psychosis and trauma, Teresa works with clients experiencing bipolar disorder, later-life and midlife transitions, and complex grief. Her inclusive practice also supports individuals exploring gender identity and those within the LGBTQ+ and neurodiverse communities, including those on the autism spectrum. Teresa integrates a range of therapeutic modalities—including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness practices, and gender-affirming readiness evaluations—while drawing on a foundation of interpersonal neurobiology to help clients create meaningful, lasting changes. She also enjoys volunteering to educate the community about Hearing Voices Network, and ways to support one another in creating positive changes in our communities. Outside of her clinical work, Teresa enjoys hiking in the Pacific Northwest, spending time with her family, gardening, and reading about the intersection of spirit and science.

I was asked to review the booking process of LifeStance Health. It seems to work as expected. No big surprises, no balloons, no confetti. Just a process that works.
