About Mandy Guiden (She/Her)

Amanda K. Guiden, LPC, helps adults and older adults throughout Wisconsin navigate emotional challenges, heal from difficult experiences, and build a greater sense of balance and resilience. As a therapist at LifeStance Health, she provides individual therapy for those experiencing anxiety, depression, and PTSD/trauma, tailoring treatment to each person’s unique needs and goals. Amanda believes that meaningful progress begins with a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, compassion, and collaboration. Her clinical interests also include Prolonged Exposure Therapy, Written Exposure Therapy, and Schema Therapy, which can be valuable tools for individuals working through deeply rooted patterns and trauma-related concerns. Her therapeutic style integrates evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Amanda has experience working with diverse populations, including members of the LGBTQ+ community, military veterans, and individuals with autism spectrum disorders. In addition to her primary areas of focus, she provides support for concerns such as grief, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), later-life transitions, and other behavioral health challenges. Amanda earned her education from Marquette University and Indiana University. Outside of her clinical work, Amanda enjoys baking, reading, and spending time with her children.
