I am a licensed professional counselor specializing in the treatment of anxiety disorders including obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), social anxiety, panic disorder with agoraphobia and generalized anxiety disorder. I also help clients struggling with depression and mood disorders, eating disorders, grief/loss and life adjustment issues. I utilize cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) to help clients reduce symptoms and improve functioning in all areas of life including home, work, school and relationships. One of my goals is to help clients understand their diagnoses and work with each client to create an individualized treatment plan. Through this process I really enjoy seeing clients recognize their unique strengths and gain confidence as they achieve their goals. I work with adults and have a wide range of clinical experience including residential and outpatient work at Rogers Memorial Hospital-OCD Center, Aurora Psychiatric Hospital-Eating Disorder Program and the Anxiety Disorders Foundation. Finally, I received her Master’s degree in Counseling from Marquette University.
