Additionally, Jennifer has training in advanced techniques like EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), which is a proven method for assisting individuals in processing and recovering from trauma. Also, as a mother of a child with disabilities, Jennifer has been able to understand and connect with neurodiverse clients, and their families, understanding some of the life transitions that are unique to this group of people. In her spare time, Jennifer loves listening to music, going to concerts, hanging out with friends playing board games and role-playing games, thrift shopping, dancing, painting, watercolor, drawing, reading, taking her dog for walks, enjoying comedy shows, and going on adventures while traveling.

See what our patients are saying about Jennifer Geisler

I've been a patient at LifeStance for over a year, seeing Dr. Tory Elliott. My wife has recently had a stroke, so I'm typing her review for her here: she has seen Jennifer Geisler in the past and is ready to start therapy again---she just emailed Jennifer yesterday. My wife notes Jennifer's excellent active listening skills, non-judgmental attitude, and ease in expressing empathy, both verbally and non-verbally. If MY wife is sticking with one particular therapist, please believe me when I say that they have GOT to be VERY GOOD at what they do. As far as my own experience, since beginning therapy at LifeStance, my day-to-day actions have shown marked improvement. I continue to make more positive, productive choices. My emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual health must have ALL improved, because I just FEEL better...I feel better in all four areas. My therapist says that I 'do all the work': though that may be true, I wouldn't be doing it without her. I'd noticed someone had mentioned in their review that 'the booking process is annoying' and disliked that, as a LifeStance patient, we have to answer the same series of questions before every appointment. This is true. However, the above-mentioned process takes about 90 seconds; depending on your reading speed (it can be completed in one minute if you're a speedy reader!). This questionnaire is a small inconvenience in exchange for the best therapy that both my wife and I have ever engaged in. Being born in the 1970s, I've been granted the privilege to age a bit, and being diagnosed with PTSD and panic disorder, I've had a few therapists in my day. LifeStance is great. If you haven't already, why not give them a try?

The booking process is annoying answering all the questions and having to refill out all the same questions everytime about insurance if your insurance changes then change it but it shouldn't be asked everytime you do a virtual and if your answers don't change don't ask the same ones the process just takes to long
