About Sarah Hedgcock (She/Her)

Sarah Hedgcock, LCSW, helps children, adolescents, and teens across Wisconsin build resilience, strengthen coping skills, and navigate challenges that may be affecting their emotional well-being, relationships, academic success, or daily functioning. As a therapist with LifeStance Health, she provides individual therapy, family therapy, and case management services with a thoughtful, collaborative approach. Sarah has experience supporting young people experiencing anxiety, depression, and ADHD, while also helping families better understand and respond to behavioral and emotional concerns. Her therapeutic style combines evidence-based care with genuine curiosity about each young person’s unique experiences and strengths. Sarah frequently incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based interventions, and family therapy techniques to support meaningful progress. She also offers psychological testing as part of a comprehensive approach to understanding a child or teen’s needs. In addition to her primary areas of expertise, Sarah provides support for concerns such as trauma, grief, gender identity exploration, and other mental health challenges. Sarah believes that therapy works best when young people feel safe, respected, and empowered to be themselves. She values creating an environment where children and teens can express their thoughts openly while caregivers receive tools and guidance to support growth at home and in the community. Her goal is to help patients develop skills that foster emotional wellness long after therapy ends. Outside of her clinical work, Sarah enjoys playing board games, reading, discovering new restaurants and hidden city gems, attending concerts, and following women’s sports. She particularly enjoyed watching the Women’s Professional Baseball League during its recent season. She also loves spending time with her sweet, senior cat.
