Yelida Clark, MA, ALMFT,
About Yelida Clark (She/Her)
Yelida, ALMFT, believes that meaningful change begins when clients feel genuinely heard, understood, and accepted. Her approach to therapy is warm and collaborative, creating a space where clients can show up as themselves without fear of judgment. She works with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families, helping them navigate emotional challenges, strengthen relationships, and develop a deeper understanding of themselves. She particularly enjoys helping couples break out of painful communication patterns and reconnect with one another. Yelida provides therapy in both English and Spanish and values incorporating each client’s cultural background and unique experiences into treatment.
Yelida has experience supporting clients through anxiety, depression, grief, relationship difficulties, family conflict, and major life transitions. She draws from evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Gottman Method Couples Therapy, in which she has completed Level 2 training.
Outside of the therapy room, Yelida enjoys tending to her perennial garden beds in the warmer months, and curling up with her Shiba Inu puppy, her Kindle and a homemade treat in the colder months. Her current favorite treat to make is pumpkin snickerdoodle cake.
Yelida Clark provides services with supervision.
