Corrie Yanko, LSW,
About Corrie Yanko (She/Her)
Corrie Yanko, LSW, helps children, adolescents, teens, adults, and older adults navigate life’s challenges with compassion, practical guidance, and evidence-based therapy. As a Licensed Social Worker at LifeStance Health, she provides individual, couples, and family therapy for patients throughout Illinois. Corrie works collaboratively with each person to build resilience, strengthen coping skills, and create meaningful progress toward emotional wellness and healthier relationships. Corrie is especially passionate about supporting individuals who have been recently discharged from a psychiatric hospital and those participating in court-ordered treatment. She understands that these situations can feel overwhelming and often require a structured, supportive approach. Her goal is to help patients stabilize, regain confidence, strengthen daily functioning, and develop sustainable strategies that support long-term recovery and personal growth. Her clinical experience includes helping people manage anxiety, depression, and PTSD/trauma, while also addressing concerns such as ADHD, relationship difficulties, grief, behavioral challenges, and life transitions. Corrie has experience working with children and adolescents, LGBTQ+ individuals, military veterans, and families involved in adoption or foster care. She also offers support for a wide range of additional mental health and behavioral health concerns. Corrie incorporates evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), tailoring treatment to each patient’s unique needs and goals. She believes that therapy is most effective when it is built on trust, respect, and a strong therapeutic partnership. Her educational background includes studies at Chatham University and La Roche College. Beyond her clinical work, Corrie enjoys spending time outdoors, reading, cooking, practicing self-care, and making meaningful memories with loved ones. These interests help inform her belief that balance, connection, and wellness play important roles in overall mental health.
Corrie Yanko provides services with supervision.
