About Amy Noh (She/Her)
At LifeStance Health, Amy Noh helps adults and older adults navigate anxiety, depression, and life’s challenges with a compassionate, culturally responsive approach to therapy. Serving patients throughout New York, she works collaboratively with individuals to build emotional resilience, strengthen coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change. Amy understands that reaching out for support can be difficult, and she strives to provide a welcoming space where clients feel respected, understood, and empowered. Amy specializes in helping individuals experiencing anxiety and depression. She recognizes that these concerns can impact every aspect of a person’s life, including relationships, work, physical health, and overall well-being. Her therapeutic style focuses on identifying barriers to growth while helping clients develop practical strategies for managing symptoms and improving their quality of life. She approaches treatment with empathy, curiosity, and a deep commitment to meeting clients where they are in their journey. Drawing from evidence-based practices, Amy incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) into her work. She also utilizes mindfulness-based techniques and CBT for Insomnia when appropriate. By tailoring treatment to each individual’s unique needs, Amy helps clients gain insight, develop healthier thought patterns, and build confidence in their ability to navigate challenges both now and in the future. Amy values creating a therapeutic relationship grounded in trust, collaboration, and authenticity. She believes that every client brings strengths and experiences that can be leveraged to support healing and personal growth. In addition to providing therapy in English, she is also able to support clients who prefer to communicate in Korean. She earned her education from Syracuse University and Columbia University in the City of New York, where she developed a strong foundation in clinical practice and evidence-based mental health treatment. Outside of her professional work, Amy enjoys cooking, listening to music, and watching romantic comedies and Marvel Cinematic Universe movies. These interests help her stay connected to creativity, relaxation, and the importance of balance in everyday life.
