At LifeStance Health, Raisa Garcia-Diaz helps adults and older adults throughout Rhode Island navigate emotional challenges, build resilience, and improve their overall mental wellness. She provides individual therapy in a supportive, collaborative environment where clients can explore concerns, develop coping skills, and work toward meaningful personal growth. Raisa works with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, and ADHD, while also supporting clients with a variety of additional mental health concerns and life transitions. Raisa believes that therapy should be tailored to each person’s unique experiences, strengths, and goals. She takes a thoughtful and compassionate approach to treatment, helping clients better understand patterns that may be affecting their well-being and empowering them to make positive changes. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), she helps individuals identify unhelpful thought patterns, develop practical coping strategies, and build healthier ways of responding to life’s challenges. She has experience working with diverse populations, including members of the LGBTQ+ community, military veterans, and individuals with autism spectrum disorders. Raisa is committed to fostering a safe, affirming therapeutic space where clients feel respected, understood, and supported throughout their mental health journey. In addition to her primary areas of expertise, she offers support for additional emotional and behavioral concerns that may impact daily functioning and quality of life. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Raisa is dedicated to helping clients gain insight, strengthen self-confidence, and develop the tools needed to create lasting change. Whether someone is coping with anxiety, managing symptoms of depression, navigating grief, or addressing challenges related to attention and focus, she works collaboratively with clients to help them move toward their goals with confidence and hope. Outside of her clinical practice, Raisa enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her family. These experiences reinforce her appreciation for connection, personal growth, and the importance of maintaining balance and well-being. Raisa earned her education from Johnson & Wales University and Rhode Island College. She also speaks Spanish, allowing her to support Spanish-speaking clients seeking mental health care.

Raisa Garcia-Diaz provides services with supervision.
