Kimberly Mariscal helps teens, adults, and older adults develop the skills and confidence needed to navigate life’s challenges, strengthen emotional well-being, and create lasting change. As a Counselor Associate at LifeStance Health, she provides individual therapy to patients throughout Washington, offering a warm, supportive environment where clients can feel understood and empowered. Kimberly works with a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, and PTSD/trauma, while also supporting individuals through additional emotional and behavioral health challenges. Kimberly is especially passionate about helping individuals experiencing ADHD, alcohol and drug use issues, and women’s mental health concerns. She understands that these experiences can affect relationships, self-esteem, daily functioning, and overall quality of life. Through a collaborative therapeutic process, she helps clients identify strengths, build coping strategies, and move toward greater balance and fulfillment. Kimberly also holds a certificate in art therapy and appreciates the value of creative expression as part of the healing journey when appropriate to a client’s needs. Her approach to therapy is person-centered and grounded in practical, evidence-based care. Kimberly incorporates mindfulness-based techniques and parenting skills interventions while tailoring treatment to each individual’s goals and circumstances. She believes meaningful progress occurs when clients feel safe, respected, and actively involved in their treatment. In addition to her primary areas of focus, she treats a range of mental health concerns and provides support for life’s transitions and stressors. Kimberly has experience working with diverse populations, including individuals with autism spectrum disorders, military veterans, and women. She recognizes the importance of understanding each person’s unique experiences and strives to provide care that honors their background, values, and personal goals. She earned her education from Western Washington University and began practicing in 2023. Outside of her clinical work, Kimberly enjoys spending time with family and being outdoors. She loves gardening and creating soothing, calming environments, interests that reflect her belief in the importance of nurturing both personal wellness and meaningful connections.
