Dr. Shi is God sent for sure. I love the fact that she actually listens to your needs and asks you questions. I have had some psychiatrists in the past over medicate me, try to keep me on meds with negative side effects, be extremely short with me, not listen to me, and/or just be rude. Dr. Shi is the complete opposite. She has me on the right medication and the right doses. She is always kind and compassionate. She lets me talk and doesn't just write medications for a paycheck. She truly wants to see her patients become successful. When I started seeing her about 2 years ago I was completely broken. With hard word and her help I am actually functioning in the world. I'm blossoming into the person I truly am met to be. I used to not be able to leave my house, get simple tasks done, I was in such a deep depression I thought I would never get out of. If you need help don't hesitate to get it. If she's available I definitely would recommend her.

Dr. Shi is great! She is my prescriber for mental health meds and is in tuned with what works for me. I’m in a very good place now! She listens to what I say about how I’m feeling and responds accordingly. She anticipates when I’ll be needing refills and calls them in before I run out. We meet monthly through Telehealth because her office is 1½ hours away from me and, despite living so far from her office, I’m required to have a face-to-face with her annually because I’m being prescribed a controlled medication. That means I have to drive 1½ hours one way annually to meet with her. I willingly do this because she’s worth it.

Unbelievable! For the very first time someone listened intently and asked the right questions to drill down into my problems, their causes, and their symptoms. Dr. Shi's expertise in what she does, her ability to analyze, and come up with the right medicine for me to augment with a mental health medicine I am already taking was amazing. She even called me on my phone to finish up when we ran out of time in our telehealth session. Definitely the best mental health practitioner I have ever had, by far. I am so fortunate to have found Dr. Shi. One session and I trust her with my mental health completely!

I am one who has never placed much faith in mental health as an issue. However my time in Vietnam has come back to haunt me and while I haven’t directly shared my experiences with Dr. Shi , her calm demeanor and her exquisite professionalism has had a profound impact on my overall mental health. Thank you Dr. Shi. Thank you.

I can’t recommend Dr. Shi enough. She has consistently been there for me, always responding in a timely and thoughtful manner. It’s rare to find someone who generally cares about your well-being and that shows care in every interaction. Her support has made a meaningful difference in my life, and I am truly grateful.
