Adults With ADHD Group in Pennsylvania
For adults with ADHD, group therapy can offer a consistent space to reinforce successful strategies, gain support and encouragement, and learn new coping techniques.
Group Overview:
The Adult ADHD group provides participants with a foundation of information and skills to better work with their neuroatypical ADHD brain.
Whether a person has decided to explore medication or not they will learn to improve their daily functioning. Our group topics include:
Week 1: What is ADHD?
Week 2: ADHD Skills
Week 3: ADHD and The Brain
Week 4: Emotional Regulation
Week 5: ADHD and Mindfulness
Week 6: ADHD and Relationships
Participants: Adults who have been diagnosed with ADHD by a medical or psychological professional
When: Mondays from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for six weeks
Cost: Insurance and self-pay accepted in Pennsylvania.
Facilitator:
David Galbraith earned his master’s degree in clinical social work from the University of Pennsylvania in 2007.
