Our philosophical approach to services and support

Substance use does not always develop into a problem, but over time it may begin to cause difficulties in our life. It can affect our health, emotions, relationships, spirituality, finances, family life, legal status, or employment. For those who begin to experience problems associated with drug or alcohol use, there is hope for recovery in Washington.

Recovery begins with evaluation and treatment. During treatment, clients learn coping skills for living without substances and receive support from experienced clinicians specializing in drug and alcohol treatment. Complete abstinence and development of sober support networks is the key for continued long-term success.

Whether it is called addiction, chemical dependency, substance abuse, or substance use disorder treatment, we are here to help people begin a life of recovery.

Where is treatment available at LifeStance?

Our services are provided at our BeavertonVancouver, and Gladstone locations.

What is treatment like?

We first begin with an Evaluation to talk about how substances are involved with your life and what services may be helpful. We determine a “level of care” that matches your need: DUII Education, Outpatient, Intensive Outpatient, Residential, or Detoxification. LifeStance provides DUII Education, Outpatient and Intensive Outpatient levels of care. If you need Residential or Detox, we will help facilitate a referral to a provider for that level of care.

In this first session, we will also familiarize you with how the program works including rules, fees, what to expect, etc. The first session lasts about 60 minutes for adults and 90 minutes for youth.

For the first appointment, please complete the paperwork on-line and bring to the first appointment. If you have completed paperwork ahead of time, arrive 30 minutes before your appointment. If you have not completed the paperwork, arrive 1 hour before the scheduled appointment to complete the necessary paperwork. If this paperwork is not completed prior to the appointment, you may be asked to reschedule.
