I Made The Best Decision To Drive To Lansing To Meet With Dr James Hillard, because I Wanted To Explain All The Medical Conditions And Issues That I Was Going Through. He Listened To Me And Gave Me The Best Medical Advice On How To Handle Everything That I Was Going Through. He Instantly Understood How Bad My Anxiety Was, and That It Lead To My Depression Due To All Of My Pain Conditions, and We Both Agreed That It Was The Anxiety That Needed To Be Controlled, and Dr Hillard Has Done That With Medication, but The Most With His Tele Health Appts, and His Portal, because When I Was Going Through Something With My Medical Conditions, so He Always Answered, and That Helped Me Immensely Also!!! I Have Been Seeing Him For About Six Months, and He Really Helped Me Through Some Really Hard Times, but When I Had A Surgery To Remove My Upper, Mid, and Lower Stimulators, and Was, and Still Are Going Through, so He's Been Helping Me The Best Through All Of It!!! I'm Blessed To Have Him To Have Him As My Psychiatrist!!! He Also Does Get You In For Emergency Appts If Needed, and Phone Calls Which Has Helped Me Through The One Of The Roughest Surgeries With Complications That I Have Ever Been Through In My Life. I Would Highly Recommend Dr James Hillard To Anyone Who Needs Help With Any Psychiatric Issues That They're Going Through Big Or Small, because Dr Hillard Will Help You Through It All!!!

I will admit my 1st therapist was not a good match and I left the appointment feeling hopeless. Thankfully Lifestance paired me with another provider ( Eban Mackey) and this experience is life changing. I explained my issues AND HE LISTENED!!! Not only did he listen HE UNDERSTOOD!!! I'm not sure how he understood because I didn't even understand. I rarely have the words to even explain what or how I'm feeling. Dr Mackey has not only given me hope he's changed the trajectory of my entire life. I recently had my second visit and within 1 month I'm listening to music again, went on a date as well as watched several TV shows from start to finish. Only those that understand will know how major this is. I can't explain how thankful I am to have him!!!

Over these past years , Dr.Eban has truly been the only provider who has consistently listened to me, understood what I’m going through, and made me feel heard. With everything happening with my health, pain, and the ups and downs of trying to get answers, having a psychiatrist who actually takes my concerns seriously has meant more than I can explain. His support has been a huge part of what keeps me grounded and moving forward. Thank you for having a practice where compassion and real understanding still exist. It makes a world of difference.

It was great, I was nervous at first but he put me at ease & let me know everything was going to be fine. He went over everything with me & my previous dr & my medications & signed records, he was very nice & patience with me. I told my husband I feel comfortable with him & I think this will help & work & I won't run for the hills so to speak because that's what I do now when a dr scares me after so many of them yanking me off my medications & not putting me on something else or explaining why they did it.

My experience has be the most succesful treatment in my life & I amby my Dr who is patient compassionate through and completely knowlegable of mental disorders. He takes the time to explain everything about my treatment & truly cares about helping his patience have a better quality of life. Dr. Kent is an incredible psychiatrist! She's brilliant, kind, caring, understanding, wise, and knows her stuff. We have seen a few psychiatrist prior and she is definitely the best. She makes herself available when you really need her and she responds back so quickly to messages. I am SO thankful someone told me about her! She works with my son who is a preteen.
