As a person with manic depression and PTSD, I can tell you my sessions and treatments have helped tremendously. I feel heard, understood, am held accountable, and my therapist and psychiatrist really care about me being the best version of myself. I won't pretend every day or even every session is roses because it's not. Tears still flow at times and I'm not in a good mood emotionally at others. However, both give me genuine listening ears, honest feed back, and have provided practical strategies. Taking a new approach to my mental health has been the best gift I've ever given myself. Having my therapist and psychiatrist has been the best gift God has given to me regarding my mental health. I used to think my issues would be a part of my life forever. Now, I see that I can, am, and will get better. It takes a lot of work with my team, but it also takes me practicing what I've learned and once I leave therapy. If you need support mentally, I highly recommend my team to you. I've never felt rushed in a session and I always feel more positive when I leave. Just remember, a good support team (which is what I have) is important, but we as patients must do the work. I also want to say customer service is awesome. The ladies at the front desk are always kind, smiling, and willing to help. Support via phone has always been great too. If I could give 10 stars, I would. LifeStance is a Life Saver. This review is specifically for Dr. Kevin Larkins. This gentleman is professional, ethical, and knowledgeable in every sense of the words. As a patient, I’ve never experienced better care from a therapist. He was highly recommended by another Lifestance professional that was counseling my marriage, and the individual therapy that I’ve received from him has helped me, immensely, within my marriage and my personal life. His calm presence allowed me to open up and feel safe and secure enough to be vulnerable which fueled my healing. I was held accountable for my actions, and was taught how to set firm boundaries to protect my peace and enable growth and evolution throughout all phases of my life. He guided me through my required work, and provided valuable insight for my situation with compassion and empathy. I highly recommend him to any person, regardless of race, creed, or gender, that needs gentle, but firm care.

The five stars is for My therapist Dr Schlecht, she is the best! I look forward to our calls every 2 weeks! She makes me feel comfortable and like she cares about my well being. As far as my psychiatrist, Dr Cunningham, i really did not like how she dealt with me. She prescribed me medications but never set up follow up appointments or even lab work to check on my liver due to me being on medication. So i had to cut her and the medication off. She shows no type of care for her patients. I would never recommend her as a psychiatrist!

I usually go to the Snellville office but after seeing Dr. Richard Onoja- I will only be going to this location now. Dr Onoja it’s by far the best physician I have EVER seen. He is kind, understand, patient and throughly answers your questions and addresses your concerns. 5 stars isn’t even enough! He genuinely cares and listens to you and literally is the first doctor I ever had to genuinely take his time, listen to me and even looked if medications from my gastro doctor reacted with any of my others I am so thankful!

This has been one of the best experiences. I called on a Friday for an appointment as soon as possible and I was able to get one on Monday. My doctor, Richard Onoja, was not judgmental and engaged throughout the appointment. He went through every option and considered my feelings. I followed up with the front desk for a follow up appointment and Joni was so sweet and considerate. The whole situation made me feel comfortable and confident to book my next service. If you’re looking for people that care consider booking here.
