Laurie Adams, LPC provides compassionate and expert care at LifeStance Health, offering a safe and nonjudgmental environment where clients can address their challenges and foster personal growth. Serving the community in Georgia, Laurie specializes in treating personality disorders, focusing on helping individuals navigate these complex conditions to achieve a more balanced and fulfilling life. With over a decade of experience since starting her practice in 2011, Laurie serves a diverse range of clients including adolescents (15-17), young adults, adults, and seniors. She is dedicated to addressing a variety of mental health concerns such as ADHD, anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, and PTSD/Trauma. Laurie also specializes in supporting individuals through life transitions, grief, and substance abuse issues. Laurie’s therapeutic approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Couples/Marital Counseling, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Her expertise extends to providing psychological testing where necessary, ensuring comprehensive and tailored treatment plans for each client’s unique needs.
Outside of her practice, Laurie nurtures her passion for animal welfare by rescuing and caring for furry companions. She finds solace in nature, enjoys reading, meditation, and exploring different cultures through travel.
