Erica Perkins is a Nationally Certified School Psychologist and a Licensed Educational Psychologist with more than 15 years of experience specializing in comprehensive and integrated school psychological services. Erica treats patients between the ages of 3 to 22. She also provides mental and behavioral health services to adults. Erica specializes in using a problem-solving framework, collaboration with families and systems, assessment and data collection, and has skills to work with diverse individuals and families. She has additional training in therapeutic play, restorative practices, solution-focused counseling, cognitive-behavioral techniques, and mindfulness strategies. She is a passionate advocate for school based mental health services and is committed to social justice and equity in practice. Erica serves as the National School Psychology Association’s Delegate for the State of Rhode Island. In Erica’s free time, Erica enjoys spending time practicing yoga, cycling, and going on family hikes. She also enjoys live music, dance, and musical theater. Erica has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Goucher College, a Master of Science in Applied Educational Psychology from Northeastern University, and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in School Psychology from Northeastern University. She completed her Licensed Educational Psychologist credential at William James College. She has basic Spanish fluency.
