Jesse Breeden is a 2020 graduate of the UofO and a 2022 graduate of Pacific University, where he received a Master of Applied Psychological Science. His background in anthropology and psychology informs his general love of people and the complex puzzle that is life. Jesse is a firm believer that there is no right or wrong way of living, but that there are certainly helpful and unhelpful ways. Jesse borrows from several evidenced-based interventions (including ACT, DBT, and others) but primarily relies on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, as it is solution-focused and at the core of behavior change, including exposure therapy which is the “gold standard” treatment for anxiety. He has a collaborative and supportive style, is told he’s easy to talk to, and works well with teens and adults. He is person-centered and strength-based, offering a safe space to foster whatever change clients are moving toward. In his free time, Jesse enjoys games of all kinds, watching documentaries, reading, camping and hiking, spending time with family and friends, and making and/or eating delicious foods.
