Cynthia Williams, PhD, CRNP, PMHNP-BC, FNP-C, CMHE, NP

Cynthia Williams, PMHNP, brings a compassionate and clinically grounded approach to mental health care for individuals of all ages across Kentucky. Practicing at LifeStance Health, she provides medication management and individual therapy for children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. Cynthia creates a welcoming, respectful environment where clients feel empowered to explore their experiences and build strategies for meaningful change.

Cynthia is especially passionate about supporting individuals navigating ADHD, grief, and depression, with a particular emphasis on adolescent sexual health and behavior. She offers thoughtful, developmentally appropriate care to young people and families, helping them process emotions, improve communication, and build confidence in the face of life’s transitions. Her commitment to adolescent wellness is reflected in her advocacy and community education efforts, ensuring youth have access to both clinical support and trusted guidance.

In addition to her core specialties, Cynthia treats a broad range of mental health concerns including anxiety, PTSD/trauma, bipolar disorder, reproductive challenges, and sleep disorders. She serves diverse populations, including LGBTQ+ individuals, first responders, and military veterans. Her approach integrates evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness. With every session, Cynthia aims to meet clients where they are—blending warmth with clinical excellence.

Outside of her professional life, Cynthia enjoys writing poetry, singing, and traveling the world. She finds joy in “fluffy” animals, unique trees, and time spent with her beloved family, including her grandchildren and her mini poodle, Meeko.
