The care i have received from Dr. Tetzlaff has been very good. She is compassionate and understanding of your issues, and insightful in her adjustment of medication. I’ve been able to ask if there is a medicine available for various issue i’ve been having, and she’s been able to explain what is available, what they’re usually used for, and what is recommended and what is not. I’ve felt very comfortable during my treatment with her. There have never been any issues with getting my medications delivered. The only downside has been that she recently got a new secretary who has given me attitude when I’ve missed appointments and needed to reschedule. She also didnt get back to me for over a month in an instance where i was supposed to hear back from her in a couple of days. This isn’t reflective of Dr. Tetzlaff, who has continued to be her normal, caring self, but it has made the process of getting appointments difficult and unpleasant, which is the opposite of what it should be in a mental health field. Whoever this girl is, I wish her the best, but I would implore her to learn patience and empathy when serving those who struggle with their mood and functionality on a daily basis.

It's difficult to assess how your psychiatrist is really doing when things are going well, although that obviously is the goal and I am grateful for all of Irene's hard work in getting me there. The last few months have been extremely difficult for me and Irene has been there to guide me so that I will be taking the correct meds. We get along very well and I am extremely happy with our professional relationship. Also, a big shout out to the LifeStance staff who have always been helpful as well.

Irene Tetzlaff deserves recognition. I have only seen her for a short period of time... perhaps as little as 3 or 4 sessions and already i feel as if i have known her for much much longer. How does one do such a thing in so brief a time you ask? my best guess is that it's her calming presence and empathetic tonality perhaps. She is a very welcome and helpful source of professionalism with a healthy helping of friendly wisdom. i recommend life stance and Irene highly.

My experience with Irene TETZLAFF was always a pleasure! Very kind, and understanding! Never in a rush! Unfortunately, I had to switch my insurance because my insurance is not covering Medicare anymore and five states does not take my new insurance which is very upsetting, but I have no choice in the matter! Thank you all so much for all your kindness and help. I will sure miss you.!

I cant say enough how I great I felt after my first meeting. I was stressed out at first with starting this procedure on the count of being nervous telling my story. After my first meeting that stress was removed completely. I now know going forward that this going to be a long journey but I feel relaxed going to the next step.

It's hard finding the right psychiatrist. Finding Dr. Tetzlaff has been a blessing! If you're looking for a good Dr. who thinks outside of the box, is knowledgeable in the specialty, and takes the time with you to listen to every single detail, Dr Tetzlaff is the one to go to.
