At LifeStance Health, Saba Ashcraft helps teens, adults, and older adults throughout New York find relief from mental health challenges and move toward greater stability, wellness, and confidence. As a dual-certified Family and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, she provides thoughtful, patient-centered psychiatric care through medication management in a supportive and nonjudgmental setting. Saba works collaboratively with each patient to understand their unique experiences and develop personalized treatment plans that support long-term mental and emotional well-being. Saba has a special interest in helping individuals experiencing ADHD, anxiety, depression, women’s mental health concerns, and life transitions. She recognizes that challenges such as stress, changing family roles, career demands, reproductive health concerns, and major life adjustments can significantly impact mental health. Her approach emphasizes listening carefully, building trust, and helping patients develop a path forward that aligns with their personal goals and values. Her clinical experience includes treating ADHD, anxiety, and depression, as well as additional concerns such as bipolar disorder, PTSD and trauma, obsessive-compulsive disorder, sleep disorders, substance use concerns, grief, and later-life transitions. Saba also has experience supporting first responders and individuals navigating complex emotional and behavioral health challenges. She strives to create a welcoming environment where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout their treatment journey. Since beginning her practice in 2020, Saba has remained committed to delivering high-quality psychiatric care that combines clinical expertise with compassion. Her educational background includes studies at the State University of New York at Binghamton, Upstate Medical University, Utica College, and Excelsior College. She is also able to provide care in Hindi, Punjabi, and Urdu, helping broaden access to mental health services for diverse communities. Outside of her professional work, Saba enjoys attending Broadway shows, reading, taking long walks, exploring New York City, traveling, and spending quality time with family and friends. She values balance, mindfulness, and creating meaningful connections, principles that also influence her approach to patient care.
